  • From Extremadura: Take the A-66 motorway or Ruta de la Plata to Seville. Before entering Seville, take the ring road SE-30 towards Puente del Alamillo / Isla de la Cartuja, and then take the exit Estadio Olímpico / Aeropuerto. Once on Isla de la Cartuja, get to the park through Avda. Carlos III, Calle Marie Curie, Calle Matemáticos Rey Pastor y Castro and Calle José de Gálvez.
  • From Huelva or Southern Portugal: Take the A-49 motorway to Seville. As you approach the city, follow signs for Isla de la Cartuja / Isla Mágica through Avenida Carlos III, Calle Marie Curie, Calle Matemáticos Rey Pastor y Castro and Calle José de Gálvez.
  • There's a bike path along the Guadalquivir River that leads to Isla de la Cartuja. You can also find bike racks near the park entrance.

Car park

  • Isla Magica has two car parks on-site:
  • General car park: Located on Calle Juan Bautista Muñoz, 400 meters from the entrance, for €8.90 (or €7.90 if purchased online in advance).
  • Barqueta car park: Located at the entrance to the park, just 50 meters from the entrance, for €12.90. This car park can only be booked online and is for cars only (no vans or motorhomes allowed).
  • Both car parks are open from half an hour before the park opens until half an hour after it closes.
  • Accessible parking spaces are available in both car parks.

Walking to Isla Mágica

  • Best for: Visitors who enjoy leisurely strolls and exploring the city's charm on foot.
  • Travel time: Approximately 30-40 minutes
  • Distance: 2.5 kilometers (1.6 miles)

Seville Cathedral to Plaza Nueva

  • Head northwest along Avenida de la Constitución, passing by bustling cafes and shops
  • Continue straight to Plaza Nueva, a beautiful square with impressive buildings and a statue of King Ferdinand III.

Plaza Nueva to Plaza de Armas

  • From Plaza Nueva, take Calle Tetuán, a lively pedestrian street known for its boutiques and eateries.
  • Follow this street until you reach Calle San Pablo, then turn left.
  • Walk straight to Plaza de Armas, where you’ll find a modern shopping center and the old train station, now a cultural hub.

Plaza de Armas to Isla Mágica

  • From Plaza de Armas, cross the Puente del Cristo de la Expiración (Christ of the Expiration Bridge), offering stunning views of the Guadalquivir River.
  • Once across the bridge, turn right and follow Calle Torneo along the river.
  • Keep walking until you reach Calle Juan Rabadán, where you'll turn left.
  • Follow this street, and you’ll soon find yourself at the entrance of Isla Mágica.
