What are the opening hours of Isla Magica?

What’s the best time to visit Isla Magica?

The best time to visit Isla Mágica depends on what you're looking for in your theme park experience. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons of different times to visit:

Weekdays vs. Weekends

  • Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends, so you'll have shorter wait times for rides and shows. However, the park may not be fully operational on weekdays, so it's always a good idea to check the schedule before you go.

Shoulder Seasons (April-May & September-October)

The shoulder seasons offer a good balance of crowds and weather. The temperatures are mild, and the park is not as crowded as it is during the peak summer months. However, some of the water rides and shows may not be operational during the shoulder seasons.

Summer (June-August)

This is the peak season for Isla Mágica, so the park will be the most crowded. However, all of the rides and shows will be operational, and you'll be able to enjoy the water park, Aqua Mágica. Just be prepared for hot weather and long lines.

Getting to Isla Magica

Public transportation

  • By Bus: This is the easiest and cheapest way to get to Isla Magica from Seville city center. Several buses stop near the park entrance. Here are some routes:
  • Lines C1 and C2 stop right at the main entrance of the park.
  • Lines C3 and 02 take you across the river from Isla Magica at the Barqueta Bridge. You can then walk a short distance to the park.
  • By Taxi: Taxis are a convenient option if you have luggage or are traveling with a group. You can hail a taxi on the street or order one through a ride-sharing app like Cabify or Uber. The ride from Seville city center to Isla Magica should take around 10-15 minutes.
  • By Train: The nearest train station to Isla Magica is Santa Justa Station. From there, you can take bus line C2 to the park entrance. The train ride from other Spanish cities to Seville might be faster than taking the bus, but factoring in the transfer to the bus, it might not save much time in total.

By car

Isla Magica is easily accessible by car via the SE-30 ring road. If you're coming from outside Seville, follow the signs for ‘"Isla de la Cartuja / Isla Mágica’ as you approach the city. Here's a breakdown of the route:

  • Take the SE-30 ring road.
  • Follow signs for ’Isla de la Cartuja / Isla Mágica’ through Avenida Carlos III, Calle Marie Curie, Calle Matemáticos Rey Pastor y Castro and Calle José de Gálvez.

Parking:

Isla Magica has a large secured parking lot for visitors. There are two options:

  • General Parking: This is located on Calle Juan Bautista Muñoz, around 400 meters from the entrance. The fee is €8.90, or you can get a discounted rate of €7.90 if you purchase your parking ticket online beforehand.
  • Barqueta Parking: This is the closest option, situated right at the park's entrance, just 50 meters away. It's more convenient but also more expensive at €12.90.
